    Canon just announced a firmware upgrade for the Canon 5D Mark ii that allows users to control aperture when shooting video, thus solving my only gripe with the system.   The 1080p on-lenses footage is very similar to what we get with CollegeHumor’s HVX and P+S lens adapter, only $2,500 instead of $20,000.  Using this, I can even plug in a high quality shotgun mic. This is by far the best tool on the market for making wonderful cheap videos.
