I’m terrible about umbrellas.  Somehow I’m unable to see them as an extension of my body, and I bump into person after person when I’m walking with one.

But the other day, when it was raining, I weaved in and out of people like a race car driver, even gliding through narrow spaces between other umbrella-holders.
